At Evergreen, our learning environments are thoughtfully designed to be warm, welcoming and inspiring spaces where every child feels safe, valued and supported to learn, grow and thrive. We recognise that children learn in different ways and at their own pace, which is why our environments are carefully planned to cater for a wide range of interests, strengths, abilities and learning styles.

Each learning space is intentionally curated with a rich variety of age appropriate resources, natural materials and engaging experiences that encourage exploration, creativity, problem solving and independent thinking. Our environments are flexible and responsive, evolving alongside children's emerging interests and developmental needs to ensure learning remains meaningful, purposeful and engaging.

We believe the environment acts as a third teacher, providing children with opportunities to investigate, discover and make sense of the world around them. Through carefully designed indoor and outdoor spaces, children are encouraged to take risks, build confidence, develop relationships and actively participate in their own learning journey.

Our centre features spacious learning environments that promote a strong sense of belonging, wellbeing and community. By providing smaller group experiences throughout the day, educators are able to build meaningful relationships with each child, gain a deeper understanding of their individual needs and provide intentional learning opportunities that support their growth and development.

Children have access to a variety of learning experiences across all developmental areas, including literacy, numeracy, science, creative arts, sustainability, physical development and social and emotional learning. These experiences are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and are enriched through children's interests, family input and connections with the local community.

Our dedicated educators carefully observe, plan and reflect on each child's learning, ensuring every environment remains engaging, inclusive and supportive. We strive to create spaces where children feel confident to ask questions, express themselves, collaborate with others and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Our Rooms

Nursery (0 to 2 Years)

Our Nursery provides a nurturing, calm and secure environment where our youngest children can develop strong relationships, explore their surroundings and build confidence through responsive and meaningful interactions.

Early Learners (2 to 3 Years)

Our Early Learners room encourages curiosity, independence and discovery. Children are supported to develop social skills, language, confidence and a growing sense of self through play based learning experiences.

Preschool (3 to 5 Years)

Our Preschool program prepares children for a successful transition to school and beyond. Through engaging projects, intentional teaching and rich learning experiences, children develop the skills, confidence and dispositions needed to become capable, resilient and enthusiastic learners.
