Evergreen is an approved and registered child care centre under the federal government. This means, you will be entitled to all fee subsidies, including the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) .
To be eligible for Child Care Subsidy you need to meet all of the following:
- use approved or registered child care provider
- you are responsible for paying the child care fees for your child
- meet the immunisation requirements
- meet the residency requirements
How much can a family receive?
The level of subsidy a family receives will depend on three factors:
- Income – a family’s (both partners) combined income
- Activity test – what activities the individual and their partner undertake or exemptions that might apply and
- Service type – the type of approved child care service used, for example Centre Based Day Care
Childcare fee subsidies are managed by the Services Australia. Applications for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and the Child Care Rebate (CCR) can be made through Centrelink. Please make sure you register your details to ensure you receive Child Care Subsidy as a reduction to your child care fees. For more information about the Child Care Subsidy you can visit the Services Australia website or contact Centrelink on 136 150 Once you have registered your details, you will be provided with a Customer Reference Number (CRN) for yourself and your child. Your Customer Reference Number (CRN) will link your details within our Childcare Management System to ensure the benefits you are entitled to, will assist with the reduction of your weekly fees for childcare.
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) 3 Day Guarantee now allows all CCS eligible families to access a minimum of 3 days, or 72 hours per fortnight, of subsidised early learning, regardless of work or study requirements.
